Amber’s Allies is dedicated to improving the lives of those afflicted with the disease of addiction and to providing scholarships for individuals struggling to regain control of their lives, productivity, and happiness. Funds will be used for career and vocational education, as Amber embodied a sense of curiosity and wonder and was always exploring new information and activities. Priority for scholarships will go to those who are currently in a holistic treatment center or who have successfully completed treatment and have demonstrated need. We hope to improve the outlook for those in recovery and alter the trajectory of a life toward productivity, self-esteem, and hope.
All funds received will be used toward this purpose and all friends of Amber’s Allies can follow our journey on this website. When Amber was in elementary school, she presented a Mother’s Day gift to her mother, a tiny spider plant. This precious plant is quite different now than when it first arrived in small paper cup with a handmade card. Donors can request their own spider plant which will arrive with informational cards regarding Amber’s Allies. Gifting new spider plants to family and friends will help realize the dream of providing hope, support and information, and a safe haven to recover, heal, and find now tomorrows. With your help, this can become the spider plant that covered a nation!
