If you choose to donate, you will be sent a small Spider Plant, similar to what you see in the picture above. As a Spider Plant grows, it reproduces by growing more plants at the ends of its branches (notice the small plants protruding from the ends of the hanging plant in the picture). These plants can be cut from the original and be planted, becoming their own new plant that will grow and produce more plants. When you donate, you’ll be sent one of these. As it grows and produces its own new plants, we encourage you to give them to others in your life, as a symbolic way of spreading our message. The goal is to spread the message of helping those who struggle with addiction all across the nation and the world. With your help, we can make that happen.
Your donation will also go towards student scholarships and help those who are struggling with addiction and who are financially crippled to participate in higher education.
When you buy a spider plant you will receive a piece of paper in which you may attach it onto the plant. This is to remind your self of your generosity and to remind you of the life that you help support.
Things you can do with you spider plant:
After you receive your spider plant you can tear off a piece when ready and resend that new spider plant piece to another person. Tell them about the cause and encourage them to give as well!
